This happens because Windows 10 is not supported and Yo-Safe doesn't know how to operate. This application comes pre-installed on various Acer laptops. You will have to wait until Acer releases a new version of MyWinLocker before you can actually use it again. I see that there is no possibility of downloading an update for the application and the best way to get the answer about this issue is through the contact option. Acer allows you to chat with a technician using the chat link posted on the Support page: http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/service-contact
Access the chat link and get in touch with actual developers.
You need to have a remote application or service installed on your computer to be able to connect and access the .excess files. The MyWinLocker stores the files on your computer. And I doubt that it uploads them to an online cloud storage drive. If you have remote access to your computer, try to connect and then pull all the .excess files back to your computer. MyWinLocker works only on Acer. If you have another brand of computer, it won't work. The Remote Connection is essential for recovering your files.
For some reason MyWinLocker disappeared from my computer. How can I re-install and get at the files I saved in it?

The application is available only for Acer laptops. You can't download and use it for any other computer except Acer. To download it, access the official Support page provided by Acer. Identify your laptop model (see the sticker under the laptop), then download the application from the Applications category. Install it and then see if it detects the files you have hidden or protected. For most of the applications from this category, the recovery is not possible.
If you keep having issues, then I recommend contacting them. They should have additional recovery methods not shared publicly.
MyWinLocker does not provide additional ways to gain access to encrypted or deleted files. You will need to use the Password Hint feature if you lost the password. Also, if the files were deleted, then they are long gone without the possibility to restore them back.
I forgot MyWinLocker master password. How can I retrieve it?

The application does not contain any unlocking mechanism other than Password Hint feature. If you forgot your password and the files are encrypted then those files are lost forever.
I uninstalled MyWinLocker because it was showing the dialogue box "Image was not correct". After un-installation, the data was not found in the system. Can I recover the files?

Once you uninstall the application, the settings including the master password and the folder locks are also deleted. Even if you re-install the application, MyWinLocker will not recognize the locked folders. In this case, everything is lost because it's encrypted and you cannot use the password from the previous installation.
I accidentally encrypted an important file, but I don't remember setting any master password before. Is there a way to reset/retrieve the master password? Or any way to recover/decrypt my file without the password?

Master password is needed to be set up at the program's installation. If you didn't do it, then there's no way to recover the file. If the two elements that are able to restore the file to the initial condition (unencrypted) are not available then the whole content is lost. You cannot decrypt it.
There is no way to access the protected files if the application was removed. MyWinLocker stores different UID for files and if you install the application again, it will assign another UID for files making them unrecognizable.
If I encrypt a file with Mywinlocker on a thumb drive, will Mywinlocker automatically download on a different computer from the thumb drive when I attempt to open it? I have to send an encrypted thumb drive to someone, and they do not have Mywinlocker on their netbook, and do not have access to Internet to download.

The application will automatically deploy a file that is copied on the drive and if the thumb is accessed on other computer, a window will appear asking the user to input the unlock password.

There is a problem with the registration of a DLL. This error is caused by a wrong registration of a DLL file. Try to install the package again using Administrator rights. Use the application page on Software Informer to download the product again.
